This spring, Coveteur tapped Illustrator Austin Call to interpret the Met Gala Beauty looks that stole the show in typical Coveteur fashion with custom illustrations. While the Met Gala is mainly centered around the outfits adorning the Met steps, the hair and the makeup are the show-stopping finishing touch. From Anne Hathaway’s 60’s bouffant to Doja cat’s ‘Choupette-Lagerfeld’-like makeup, and of course, Lil Nas X’s head to toe silver paint and rhinestones, hair and makeup was front-and-center. 

Through Austin Call’s vivid and eccentric manner to reconstruct and reinterpret these icons, he provides an artful approach to beauty and a one-of-a-kind perspective following the industry’s biggest yearly event.​
