CLM photographer Emily Lipson collaborated with Streeters’ artists Evanie Frausto, Frankie Boyd, and Sarah Benjamin to create the Fall/Winter 2022 Altered States cover story. 

Co-founded by Streeters’ hairstylist Michael Harding, Altered States is a printed beauty publication about cultural innovation and authenticity. The latest issue ‘States Of Altered Consciousness’ explores the seven levels of consciousness as interpreted by fashion’s most cutting-edge artists of the moment.

Lipson contemplates the concept further, “Staged in a theater, there is an implied performance that the subjects are watching. Instead of us watching the subjects, and viewing the subjects, the voyeurism is flipped — the theatergoers are viewing us, and they’re horrified.”
