Issue 6 explores the theme of Resilience, which unfolds over four chapters: ‘Soul Power’, ‘40 acres and a mule’, ‘Lost in Translation’, and ‘Collapse and Resurrection’.​

The issue coincides with the three-year anniversary of 2020’s Black Lives Matter movement, which reshaped the worlds of art, ideas, fashion, and culture. Rather than suggest a return to what was, which often no longer serves the individual and the wider community, BBF’s investigation into resilience suggests a path through hardship, towards individual and collective transformation.​
