B&A photographer and director Jenna Gang brought her dynamic, vivid style to the unexpected French’s X Skittles collaboration in celebration of National Mustard Day.
When B&A was approached with a secret brief about this project, we knew it was going to be sweet… and, salty? The mustard-skittles meet cute raised many an eyebrow, as was the campaign’s intention. After assisting to develop the concept behind the savory-sweet combo, Jenna brought the campaign to life in her Queens-based Lemon Poppy Studios, and B&A Hair & Makeup stylist Gregg Hubbard assisted with beauty.
Upon release, the campaign was a viral sensation. As the product was only available through an online sweepstakes or for purchase from a “mustard mobile” food truck that visited Atlanta, Washington, D.C., and New York City, people went wild. Countless news outlets ran headlines about the product, and Jenna’s images appeared in nearly every single one.
