For the release of their new Z8 Mirrorless Camera, Nikon approached B&A Photographer Malike Sidibe. The camera company offered to fund production for a shoot, so long as it was shot with the Z8. While the opportunity to work with an industry-leading brand was already exciting, Malike was also given complete creative control to produce and shoot anything of his choosing. ​

Immediately Malike began sourcing talent, stylists, set designers, and a location. He concepted the shoot himself, and found the perfect creative professionals to bring his vision to life. He collaborated with B&A Hairstylist Aziza Rasulova to create the models’ intricate, sculptural hairstyles. ​

The stunning final images are a testament not only to Malike’s ability to capture what’s in front of the camera, but also to his creative vision and collaborative nature. The images are being used by Nikon as advertisements for the camera and appear on a large billboard inside NYC’s very own B&H Photo Video store.​
