At Coveteur, is it our mission to explore personal style and self-expression amongst a diverse group of voices. Through our discerning lens, we showcase the world’s most compelling closets — from celebrities to tastemakers and more.
Tapping under-the-radar creatives, emerging artists, innovators, and disruptors across all industries and backgrounds, Coveteur aims to uncover the role that personal style (and the one-of-a-kind pieces in our wardrobe) plays in shaping our identity through our reader-beloved closet series.
In March 2023, we continued to bring our mission to life through a Closet Tour with Tom Ford’s Archivest and Founder of fashion archival consultancy studio, ‘The Wardrobe’, Julie Ann Clauss. Through her sharply honed collecting skills, Julie built an extensive network of clients ranging from Ford to Calvin Klein, to Gabriela Hearst. Essentially turning vintage shopping into a profession, the collectors she works for range from designers buying back old work to recording artists looking to store stage and re—carpet ensembles properly. Julie’s thoughtful approach to curating client collections transcends into her own wardrobe where YSL and ‘70s rock and roll are front-and-center—and of course, stored with the utmost care.
